11/30/2018 0 Comments Girls Games 2-8 (6-1 Record)vs. Greenwood (74-31 W)
The game against Greenwood was a bit less stressful than the first games against Connersville. It was less stressful because I had grasped what I needed to do each game in order to not miss any statistics. I still missed several statistics; however, I did not miss too many. vs. Southport (62-40 W) The game against Southport was a little bit different because my partner in crime, Devon, could not make it. Ergo, I asked my friend, Dane, to fill in for him. I was surprised at how quick he picked it up, but wasn't surprised at all. Once taking statistics with Dane, I asked him if he could fill in whenever Devon or I could not make it. He agreed and I am very thankful that he has done so. At Franklin Central (58-33 W) The game against Franklin Central was the first away game that Devon and I had gotten a complete grasp of taking statistics. We felt good about the statistics we recorded. We decided to treat ourselves by going out to eat after the game. At Lawrence North (44-75 L) This was the first game Devon and I missed; ergo, I had Dane fill in for us. This was the first loss of the season, so I was a little bit happy that I had not attended the game to be honest. I hate losing - even when I'm not the one playing/contributing to the team's losing effort. vs. Rushville (62-50 W) The game against Rushville was probably the most exciting game of the year so far. Rushville got off to a fast start while we got off to a slow start; however, we ended up outscoring the Lions 38-20 in the second half. Overall, it was an exciting win. vs. Indian Creek (56-43 W) Neither Devon or I could make it to the Indian Creek game, so I had Dane fill in for us. He missed quite a bit, but that is understandable since he was doing it all alone. However, I appreciate him recording each time there were substitutes. This helped me fill out the Analytics Workbook. vs. New Castle (58-37 W) Devon and I decided to switch who was taking which statistics. He originally was taking offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, steals, turnovers, blocks, and personal fouls while I was recording field goals attempted, field goals made, 3-pointers attempted, 3-pointers made, assists, free throws attempted, and free throws made.
